The Energy Politics Group (EPG) within the Department of Humanities, Social, and Political Sciences of
ETH Zurich investigates questions related to the governance of technological change in the energy
sector.
For ongoing research projects on energy investment and on energy policy design, the Energy Politics Group (EPG) at ETH Zurich looks for student assistants for data collection and analysis tasks. We’re looking for students (from ETH or UZH) with an interest in energy (esp. low-carbon technologies for power generation and emobility), investment, and/or energy policy. Students will also have the opportunity to get involved in EPG’s broader research agenda. We are looking specifically for candidates with a general understanding of investment/finance and accounting (reading a balance sheet, functioning of basic financial instruments, etc.) obtained through studies of business/economics or practical experience in the area. Alternatively, candidates with a general understanding of policy-making and policy design could also be suitable.
