Dear Political science students,

The Language Center of UZH/ETH has launched a new program in Academic Communication, and we are offering a new short course (7 weeks, 1 ECTS) that we thought might be of interest to you:

Argumentation skills: How to effectively communicate your point of view will explore the variety of ways by which one can construct an argument. Participants will experiment with constructing their own arguments and testing them on their colleagues, offering plenty of opportunity for in-class debate. Furthermore, building on the structure of arguments, the course will also look at rhetorical devices that enable a speaker to sound more impressive when expressing a point of view.

Registration is open until the course begins in early March.
