Silja Häusermann, Thomas Kurer and Reto Bürgisser are looking for a research assistant (studentische Hilfskraft) (20%) for our project on “How Technological Change Reshapes Politics (TECHNO)”.
The TECHNO project studies the political consequences of technological change in the workplace and how governments can enact public policies to cushion the negative consequences of technological change. The research assistant will support the team with a specific empirical project that examines the impact of a major labor market reform in France on voting behavior and radical right support.
The position is initially offered for six months but can be extended upon mutual agreement. Apart from having a good knowledge of statistics and R, political economy and labor markets, we are particularly interested in applicants with good French language skills.
